#### [[Humans have decided to reject an unjust world]]
We have flatly refused to believe that there is
no purpose to life,
no justice in death, and
no hope for the future.
Whether these [[belief]]s are true or not does not matter,
because in the grand scheme of things
it is only our resolve
to push forward action by action that matters.
That said, flat rejection leads to dismissiveness of the [[struggle]] that is required to persist in this world.
^[This is why [[pessimism]] cannot be a result of [[Knowledge of an unjust world is painful]] if we want to [[Be the change you want to see in the world]]]
To promote a better world you must also have [[empathy]] for people who are simply unable to reject the [[injustice]] they see all around them.
